Do you really think Bates appointing Warnock has corrected everything that is wrong with the club?

Has that bought back Elland Road and Thorp Arch, which were outlined as main priorities by Bates on Day One in 2005?

Has that stopped him spending £7m on the East Stand re-devolpment which will take 15-20 years before it makes a profit?

Has that reduced the prices of season tickets from being the 5th highest in the country behind only Champions League clubs?

Has that blocked Ken’s plan to place us £80-90m in debt by building TWO hotels and a nightclub at Elland Road?

Has that made up for taking us into administration in 2007, which despite what he says is HIS fault… his debt, his mistakes that took us under?

Has that made up for fans being called sickpots, morons, dissidents, nutters etc?

Has that wiped out the lies over the ownership of the club?

Has that increased the playing budget from one of the lowest in the league?

Has that made up for the sales of Max Gradel and Jonny Howson?

Has that wiped out the £1.5million debt that Yorkshire Radio owed?

Has that justified Shaun Harvey’s 16% pay rise in 2010, while everyone else suffers?

Has that stopped the power-hungry stewards from turning Elland Road into a soulless borefest?

Has that stopped the sale of Fabian Delph – the most talented academy graduate we had produced in a decade – and a player Bates said was ‘not for sale at any price’?

Has that revealed why LUTV is so shite – yet costs more than any other football club’s official online TV channel?

Has that reinvested the £9m profit we’ve made on players since administration?

Has that blocked Jermaine Beckford, Bradley Johnson, Neil Kilkenny and soon to be Aidy White leaving on free transfers?

Has that stopped the ridiculous stream of loan players and free transfers coming into the club?

Has that made it cheaper for kids and young adults to afford to go to matches instead of paying double what most Premier League fans would at that age?

Has that helped us find out who owns Elland Road?

Has that told us who owns the 24 per cent of the club that Bates doesn’t?

Has that increased the money that has been invested by FSF from just £59,000 since 2007?

Has that improved the relationship between the club and LUST who represent 4,000 Leeds fans?

Has that stopped Peter Lorimer from ruining his reputation as a Leeds legend simply to defend Bates at all costs, despite being clueless to the current situation?

Has that addressed the issue of why Gwyn Williams remains at the club when his signings often fail, costing the club a fortune in the long-run?

Has that explained why we charge the highest price in the country for our official programme?

Has that told us why nearly a third of our most loyal fans haven’t renewed season tickets for next season at the cheapest point?

Has that answered why we have the most expensive Membership scheme in the country with the least number of benefits for fans?

Has that increased the money spent on football by the club to more than just a third of our overall revenue?

Has that put the team first and club second instead of ‘club first and team second’?

Has that made up for being kicked out of the British Virgin Islands?

Has that stopped Ken being a tax-dodging old bastard?

Has that given us back the money (approx £1.5m) that Ken lost in his court case with Melvyn Levi?

Has that stopped us forking out £1.5m on legal fees to Mark Taylor?

Has that wiped out the memory that before he sold Chelsea, they were just days from going out of business because of £90m debts on the Chelsea Village project and they were unable to pay back £23m when needed?

Has that re-written history to stop Ken saying “I will not rest until that club and their animal supporters are kicked out of English football” about Leeds in 1984?

Has that taken away relegation to League One for the first time in our history?

Has that stopped Robert Snodgrass, Ross McCormack and Adam Clayton from leaving in the summer because they only have a year left on their contracts?

Has that ended eight years outside the top flight – seven years of those with Bates in charge?

So youre saying that if I buy myself a ticket for £31 and take my 11 yr old son for another £16 (were not members so cant sit in the family stand) and pay a £3 booking fee, I’ll get to watch a second division team made up of loans and freebies get tonked by Southampton in a half empty stadium on tv AND get a free child’s shirt which they have surplus stock of and which goes out of date in 3 months?

All that for just £50? What, is there some kind of protest planned that game or something?

the one positive we can take from this week after such a shitty
season so far on and off the field is that bates will have to give warnock what he wants. we all know that grayson was in an impossible position when it came to extracting funds from ken, but you just know that warnock isnt going to take any crap. if he feels he isnt being supported he will speak up. not just toe the party line.
lets be thankful for small mercies, bates could quite have easily gone out and got another lapdog to treat like shit.

How about charging children a fair price, rather than give away surplus replica kits? Wouldn’t that be a better way to attract them? Southampton let under 11′s into their family stand for free and charge just £100 a season in standard areas, at Leeds new applicant 10 yr olds are expected to find £240 to sit in the Family stand or £315 to sit in standard areas. I don’t think palming off a few cheapo shirts to a few middle-class kids is going to impress Southampton, who treat their young fans with respect and loyalty.

If I’d been Barry Fry I would have asked Bates what he thinks of the next demonstration at the Southampton home game. Seven minutes for seven years. Wasn’t there a movie called something like that. Also what he thought of Lorimer getting a slating from many fans, for being an arsehole. The interview is nothing short of pathetic IMHO. A complete waste of space.
