Yeah!
Attitude
Some fuckin' attitude
I can't believe what you say to me
You've got some attitude

Inside that bitter brain
There's gotta be a whore
If you don't shut your mouth
You're gonna feel the floor, yeah!

Attitude, what you've got
Some fuckin' attitude
Attitude's what you've got
Some fuckin' attitude
Yeah, all right

Very difficult to comprehend quite how he's missed out on the poet laureate gig, I'll grant you.

That song was not written by anyone in Guns N' Roses. You had to choose something from 'The Spaghetti Incident?' didn't you.

Haven't got a clue, chap; can't stand that shit and know very little about them. But you'll have to work hard to persuade me there was owt on that lyrics page of greater profundity.

Back to Nirvana, I fully intend to but the deluxe 20th anniversary release of Nevermind. Anyone got it yet?

Isn't even the idea of a "deluxe 20th anniversary" version of Nevermind a bit ridiculous?

Possibly, works for me though.

The Roses reunion then, what do we reckon?

I got bang into them when I was about 16, after they were long gone but til then I'd never heard of em. I've since seen every one of them playing in other bands, and they all looked to alright to me.

It's gonna be shite I know, but I'll be right in the queue for tickets.

That is, of course, if it actually is gonna happen, the font of all knowledge that is the Sun seems sure.

If Reni pitches up, I'll be amazed. Had this argument on here before, but I really can't be doing with the whole revival thing - even if they are The Resurrection.

Aye, rumours seem to circulate every few years and they've always been shat on by all concerned, but this one actually seems like it's gonna happen.

I can't go in for reunions either, you need to have a damn good reason if it's gonna happen. My favourite band in the world are the Verve, and seeing them on the reunion tour in Blackpool was one of the highlights of my life, but some of the other gigs and the resultant album were really, really beyond shite. It can spoil the whole thing.

This.

I think PiL had another go last year - but without Jah Wobble and Keith Levene for fuck's sake. The trouble with that John Lydon is that he actually thought he was important.

I doubt there was anything "hasty" about it.

No interest personally. It'll be laddish nonsense.

well - it was reported earlier in the week that they planned to announce the extra date if they'd sold out the others quickly.

yeah, i dunno. there'll be a few glimpses of the old magic. like watching ex players in their forties play testimonial games.

anyway, three nights in a 75k capacity venue at £55 per ticket, £12.4m gross, even if only 10-20% of that actually accrues to the band net to share out it will perk their pension pots up quite nicely. i'm sure that they'll add a lot more dates now, until people are sick of them. they were a great band, paid their dues etc, i doubt that any of them are incredibly wealthy men, now's a good time to cash in.

I got tickets for the Roses on't Saturday, thank fuck. Whether it's shite or not, I wasn't gonna take the chance of not being there.

EDIT TO ADD: Apparently they all went in 14 minutes. Thank fuck I have a mate at See Tickets. :thumbl:

Ah, no, I swiped that off their twitter feed. I do love the place though and visit every time I'm back in Leeds. It's their 40th birthday tomorrow too.
