Just noticed this bit for the reason for changing the Brighton kick -off

"The request was made by Sussex Police as a significant amount of car parking required for our game on the Saturday would be unavailable due to other pressures inside the city"

That is the worst excuse I have heard. Yes no doubt our game will be a sell out, but as its Brighton's first season in the new stadium and they have supposedly sold 17,000 season tickets, I am sure most of there games will either sell out or get bloody close.

So I guess all their games will be played on a Friday night?

I've been told via a Brighton fan on Twitter that it's because there are two university enrolements in the city on the Saturday. It might have been a good idea for them to point this out to the FL before the fixtures were generated.

I was just wondering what would happen if our last game of the season, where everyone has to kick off at the same time, was away from home at one of these so called sensitive cant kick off at normal time or day fixtures, what would Mr Plod do then? or is the FL computer set up so that this can never happen?

Yeah I am sure the football league can't have certain fixtures on the last day of the season due to safety reasons. Us playing Cardiff, Millwall etc won't happen on the last day.

Burnley away now 12.45pm kick off due to being on the Beeb.

Right then, I've had a shot at doing an calendar which should update for all fixture changes, for anyone who has the ability to do this on their phones/computers etc.

You should be able to subscribe to the iCal at this location:

https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/6g5obbbt7k2o3e5s4dt27st8t0%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

If you have xml feeds going into it instead, then it's here:

https://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/6g5obbbt7k2o3e5s4dt27st8t0%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic

I haven't ever done this before, so if it doesn't work, tough luck.

I've not put the friendlies or cup ties on yet, I'll do that tonight. For some reason they're not on the OS fixture list so I'll grab them from BBC or something similar.

OK, friendlies should have automatically updated on there now. If anyone is using it, if you could let me know whether it worked or not that'd be grand.

More LUFC on the gogglebox:

Sky Sports have announced they will be screening an additional three Leeds United matches live before the end of October.

The trips to West Ham, Brighton, and Doncaster will all be screened live on Sky Sports.

The West Ham game has been re-scheduled from Saturday August 20 to Sunday August 21 (1.15pm) while the Brighton game, which had already been moved to Friday September 23 (7.45pm), will also be shown live.

The trip to Doncaster Rovers has also been re-scheduled from Saturday October 15 to Friday October 14 and will now kick-off at 8pm.

Two more games fucking moved now.

We now play Cardiff at home on the Sunday at 1315hrs for Sky TV and as a consequence the following Blackpool home game moved from Tuesday to Wednesday!

This is getting rather silly now :x

Any chance of tagging the TV games with a "[TV]" or something, topbin? :thumbl:
