Is this based on prior observation of our myopic keeper?
It's based on my mates ranting who's seen him plenty. :thumbd:

Good enough for me

Remember, it's all Ridsdale's fault.

I used to work with a fat, stupid, pointless waste of oxygen in Nottingham who was the sort of bloke to pretend to like football if it meant he could attempt some banter. Whenever Forest got beat he always managed to trace it back to "Well, of course, it all started to go wrong when van Hooijdonk went on strike..."

Yep its Andy O'Brien again for me, the guy is fucking shite. The amount of times against Saints he turned his back to the ball in the box was ridiculous.

Not his best day. Once, early on in the first half, he filled me with hope that he'd hold it together.

A newcastle supporting mate said he would be okay alongside a really commanding partner. I was hoping paddy would have such an effect on him.....

I was surprised we kept O'brien as a starter - and he did make a valid claim today for the scapegoat award.
But I think as the season goes on it will be the keeper. Yes, three good strikes beat him, and he did make a good save late, but I was surprised when the first one was in the net - what his hands aren't big enough?
Okay maybe a little harsh, but a good keeper having an okay day doesn't let in 3.

Honestly Im genuinely sorry to say it but its not good enough Leigh 3 goals and all your responsibility. Its a shame as I quite like Brombs but really he just does not have a nasty enough temprament. I could imagine him holding a door open for you, or giving you his seat on a crowded bus...... but a last ditch eyeballs out game saving tackle... Not really

Yeah, he's a gent, (and a die hard Leeds fan apparently) but he's a fucking rubbish defender. These are facts.

Seems to be a theme here with our centre backs, its O'Dea again, two points cost against Baadiff today,

Im just putting this on here as as somebody on todays match thread said they couldnt remember any other mistakes by O'Dea. Obviously they have forgotten O'Dea's rick that led to Paddy being sent off earlier in the season and nearly costing us two points in that game as well (Bristol?)

I was particularly impressed by O'Dea being exonerated by the managment due to having concusion all week. The thing is with that explanation that.... even if its true he should have been honest that he wasnt 100% when asked, and that being the case the club should never have played him! Its thoroughly predictable that this happenned if he really had concusion, and even more annoyingly it was completely avoidable.

He was recovered from the Birmingham concussion prematch, as verified by the medical team, according to Grayson. He then got another knock to the head early in the Cardiff game. The implication is that he would have been fine without the second knock but that two blows to the head in 4 days was a bit too much for him.

He did look completely out of it from early on.

What's Pugh's excuse? I'm a game or two away from dominating him I think.

I noticed him looking dazed after the goal and not before and assumed he was just using it as a convenient excuse for that absolute howler, but its possible I just didnt spot the issue as like most people I only focussed on him after the error.

One other observation is a about Chubbsie Chewbacca our vertically challenged keeper. I quite liked his pre-season performances, but I lost count of the number of balls he came for and didnt reach today, and there was another ball that should have caught but didnt and sort of spilled it in the area again. Is this a confidence thing do we think.

PS Whats this about Tommydski DOMINATING Pugh ey wink wink !! Say no more. :rambo: :cheese: :dj: :geek: :pumpkin: :afro:

I think Pugh is fucking great, and our recent run has largely been built on his (and Keogh's) work rate, game of opinions etc

He was, but it was pretty weakly done and he should've been stronger by far than that. Concussed, well maybe. If he wasn't before he deserved to be after.
I wasn't impressed on the day but I wouldn't scapegoat him for that short spell in what was not a completely abject performance, even Oheddieddie'd have to admit. Don't want to see another player robbed of confidence just when we're getting into our stride.
