Speak up now Eddie, Bates Out!

From what I hear, there's a great deal of antipathy towards Bates from all at YR, including Eddie. They're in the obviously difficult position of Bates being their boss. Maybe there's a very gradual shift of editorial policy?

Lol, no seriously, went to see the Vicar as it's the little lads christening tomorrow.....

Haven't read the thread, nor did I listen to the game but am quite happy with that.......as long as we finish above Burnley and don't go down I am happy....

Eddie was alright n all, "Everyone have their opinion n I have mine, I don't know about shirt thou, can't you call the club n get one or something? I don't think you have to go into the club shop :D :D". He's definitely struggling recently, I don't think he was a massive fans of SG's, but he obviously loves the club as much as any of us .. None of Lorimers bullshit with him.

Didn't hear that, bit out of order with Eddie imho, he's doing alright in a difficult situation, same goes for Thom, Calling either of them Bates apologists n bollocks. Lorimer on the other hand is as bad a Bates, if not worse, we all new Bates was Leeds hating Chelsea Scum.

Although I'm pleased for the lads and for Redfearn, I can't help but feel that exactly what I said during the Birmingham game will come to fruition - that we'd win this game and probably the next two because they are winnable fixtures. Larry would have picked much the same team for these games and we'll be back in and around the play-off places before long. So basically, as most of us said - Larry was slightly overachieving with the squad/resources he has at his disposal. Thus, sacking Larry was absolutely fucking inexcusable and Bates is a horrible old cunt.

I know all these red cards are helping us a lot (that's five in five sequential games I think?) but we'd only lost one game this year so far and the team Larry was picking was almost certainly the strongest side we can currently play, kids and all. Sacking Larry isn't going to make Paynter, Sam, Bruce, O'Brien, Bromby and Brown suddenly better than the lads we've had out there since Xmas. That's three wins, a draw and one loss - leaving us two points out of the play-offs with good fixtures coming up. Is that really call to sack the manager when he's had basically fuck all to spend?

Fuck off Bates. You are an absolute cunt and I hope you know it.

We have sleet here. And that's the weather from Padiham.

Thought you would join in sooner or later....things were getting that critical here I had to give the chickens some Porridge
before they settled down for the night....else there could have been casualties in the coop!
