Laughing Leeds Fan

Postby Twiggster » Sun Jul 29, 2012 11:04 pm

Dennis...just heard from his daughter that Dennis has been fighting Alzheimers for a year. She has agreed that I can tell the forums he used to post on and hope that your messages of support will give him some solace.
Some of you won't know who he is, but the originals on here will. Whatever - a much loved Leeds Fan needs your support, so please post it on this thread? I will make sure Dennis sees your messages. I know they will cheer him up.
Thank you.
Not sure if his daughter can read this forum if not registered? B@stard pls let me know on MOT PM? TA.

Bollox, LLF was one of the good guys and he wrote a very moving poem about Chris & Kev.

All the best Dennis.

Can anyone else answer Twiggs' question about viewing the forum?

Didn't know the bloke, but we lost the wife's mother last month after a very, very long illness with this absolute fucker of a disease. It simply takes the person you knew and loved away, leaving a husk.
Respect to Dennis and his family. :salute:
I was correct!

Very sad news, thoughts with LLF - one of the old guard!
I have a family member with Alzheimer's and it's a fucker.
Hopefully he gets the care he needs and his family are strong.

I can view it without being logged in, so I would assume that anyone can have a look.

Can't say I know LLF, but I vaguely remember the name. Best wishes to Dennis and family.

Horrible. Don't go back far enough here to recall him, but sympathies, tough on all esp.the family.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

I met Dennis at a very early SB get together as well as seeing him at a couple of Leeds reserve games at Belle Vue....he is a very funny guy and passionate about our football club. This football club is always richer for people like him being behind it....keep fighting Dennis because the heart of the football club belongs to people like you.

Laughing Leeds Fan I remember you well when I was posting under the name Lowfields and often pissed, you managed to keep a good humour which we needed (over and above the Waccoe infiltrators) Cynicism and humour have always gone hand in hand. Laugh all the way my friend, we will follow MOT
