You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

the comments are unusually enlightened by YP standards, even the unfunny ones - the underlying pt is that it's a ridiculous idea.

FaxMan RT'd The Sun to the effect that he won't drop a division apparently.

What a fucking tosser. No recent performances of any value, blighted by injury and he still thinks he's the bollocks.

Keepers: Jussi Jaaskelainen, Brad Guzan, Steve Harper, Marton Fulop
Full-backs: Sam Ricketts, Nicky Shorey, Stephen Kelly, Paul Robinson, Adam Drury, Joe Mattock,
Centre-backs: Zat Knight, Jonathan Woodgate, Fitz Hall, Zak Whitbread, Danny Gabbidon
Central midfielders: Mohamed Diame, Hendry Thomas, Danny Guthrie, Paul Scharner, Owen Hargreaves, Ferrie Bodde, Keith Andrews, David Jones, Kemy Agustien, Rory Delap, Vince Grella
Wingers: Martin Petrov, James McFadden
Strikers: Somen Tchoyi, Tuncay, Ivan Klasnic, Emile Heskey, Kevin Davies, Peter Lovenkrands, Ricardo Fuller, Simeon Jackson, Mamady Sidibe, Aaron Wilbraham

West Brom did their retained and released list today...

Contract extensions: Jerome Thomas, Simon Cox, Marc-Antoine Fortune
Released: Nicky Shorey, Joe Mattock, Somen Tchoyi, Marton Fulop,
Contracts ended but offers could still be made: Keith Andrews, Paul Scharner.

Don't think Shorey is too realistic because of his wages, but Mattock could be worth a shot. Lad has always had potential but went a bit nuts in his late teens. If Warnock could sort him out, we'd have a decent left-back. Tchoyi is an interesting one too... athletic and could fit the Warnock-mould.

Zak Whitbread and Aaron Wilbraham released by Norwich. Whitbread would be very good for us, just a bit injury prone.

Apparently Charlton are in for him. Warnock did say we were competing for a player with Charlton but Charlton were offering much more in wages than we would. Can't think it's Wilbraham we're after though. I hope not anyway. Norwich supporting mate says he's League One standard.

Snodgrass or White where never going to sign though where they? I thought RM would, he's only really had one decent season in the last few years, but as we saw last year our best players can get better money elsewhere. A bigger worry for me is the signal this sends to any potential signings, why would top Championship players move to a club that can't keep hold of their best players? Huddersfield will prob spend more on their squad this summer than we do. Warnock isn't going to get the players he wants, he might as well fuck off now n save the embarrassment.

I reserve the right to hold onto the false hope for as long as possible, until its official otherwise, I'm trying to convince myself there's a 10% chance snoddy will sign, increased when Pearce signed and possibly even reaching 50:50 IF 2 or 3 more players come in quickly with Ross and/or White signing contracts.

As for potential signings.... I hope they don't know much about us and would only really take note if we listed Snoddy.

If we accept that White, McCormack and Snoddy are probably leaving then we're left with, Tom Lees, Becchio and Lonergan (as sub keeper to Paddy Kenny) from the keep list. Fuck me.
