Hahahaha

"BATES OUT BATES OUT!!"

Do they not have a delay or are they letting them get on air on purpose?

I hope it's the latter.

there's no plus points about tonight, apart from redfearn's honeymoon ending like an early fatal attempt at anal sex on the wedding night.

I'm glad I go to most matches. Couldn't handle tweeting about every match live from home. Does nothing for my semi-arthritic fingers.

A great exchange on the phone-in just now (maybe even better than the guy yelling Bates Out). A bloke ended his call by saying (in essence), "To the chairman, if you're listening, or if you listen to this later: step up, make a decision, let the players know what's going on, and get this situation sorted."

Eddie: "Yep. Yep, well said. Good call. [long pause] Thom?"

Really surprised they let him stay on, perhaps a corner has been turned at YR too?

The st redders day massacre cyberkop

Postby the flying pig » Tue Feb 14, 2012 11:20 pm

It's daft calling a radio station and just shouting 'Bates out'. Any talk show host worth his salt on any station is always going to cut you off and move on. People need to be ringing up and making two or three measured anti-bates points.

Don't really give a damn about 'redders'. The real villain of the piece is sitting in Monaco.

Bollocks, IMO. Two or three people every phone-in, just shouting the same thing. Of course they're going to get cut off but that's really not the point. You've just got to keep hammering it in, constantly, over and over.

Nah, I'm with Eric. If it was a reasonable radio station then I would agree with you, but with such a deplorable waste of cash and airspace it deserves nothing more than childish spoiling.

Do they have other phone in shows? I never listen so I wouldn't know, but it would be quite nice to get on to wish your aunt Ethel a happy birthday before launching into a Bates Out chant.
