'Kin 'ell WW, you had me on the edge of my seat, I was thinking of the film 'The Perfect Storm' at this point, only to read on and find out it was all about a feckin plastic thermos flask cup.

If she is real:

So er.. she was a bit of a slackfanny 25 years ago according to your description, and has presumably not changed in all that time bearing in mind that she is prepared to contact you for a desperation shag.

I would seriously consider taking some disinfectant wipes to counter all the weeping mouldering puss, and crusty necrotic ulcerations on her minge. Anyway enjoy :money:

Initially missed the "2" there... fucking good deal. Pisses on my £1.78 (corrected) per litre deal I picked up yesterday...
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

That would be alright if it was a drinkable lager. Stella is shite.

On a positive note, I just got a 24" LED Asus monitor, 2ms response full HD for £120. Win.
Been away from posting for too long, but still been lingering around like a bad fart.

In your opinion of course. I like it, along with Carlsberg Export and Magners Pear Cider.

I dunno if any of you know an amazing band from Leeds called the Old Romantic Killer Band? They split up about 3 years ago I fink. I played with them in Nottingham and had to borrow the geezer's amp. When he turned up with it I nearly resorted to ramraiding the nearest guitar shop to borrow another, but by Christ the thing sang like a birdie.

They had it on some single cover or summat anyway:

So the rule I've followed since is: If it looks shite but the band's good, then the amp's gonna be really good.

Guitarist in the last band I was in had an AC30 that he'd bought in a junk shop in Bristol for fuck all in about 1979. It's only since t'internet's had the info available that he's realised just what a gem it is - the serial number's ridiculously low, in the hundreds or summat. But that thing properly sings; just an incredible tone.

We were still a shite band, though.

The happy old man thread...

I've just got back from seeing the specialist and finding out I haven't got a nasty cancer. Bloods, CT, MRI and biopsy results all clear....Yay!

Still have to have a big fucking lump cut out of my throat, but that's small beer compared to the alternative I suppose. Also means I can celebrate my 40th next week and travel up for the Hammers game without the worry hanging over me....Yay2!
