Congrats Mighty and Mrs Mighty :D

Welcome Daniel, may you never experience what we have endured for the last 8 years. And may you never know of the existence of Kenneth William Bates apart from in the past tense.

Congrats Mightywhite, life will never be the same again.

By the way, Ponte's quip seemed to go by unnoticed, it gave me a laugh though.

Many congratulations to Mr & Mrs MW.
Welcome to the joys of being a Leeds fan to Daniel, and may your only experience of Mr Bates be the tales your father tells you of the dark days when he was our chairman, and that you enjoy your days supporting the greatest team in the land as they win their 10th consecutive treble!

As the boy walks out the living room tonight he turns to me and goes ' 'Night, you grumpy old git'.

The Mrs looks up and says, 'Oi! Where did that come from?'

'Well, it's what you call him..'

Nailed

A wise Jock acquaintance said to me, many years ago after his third was born, 'The problem is, ye cannae man-mark 'em any more'.

You would think that just applies to stopping them falling in duck ponds or whatever but no, the principle still holds fifteen years on when you have to be in three places at once picking them up from their friends houses etc.

Enjoy!

O/T The Official Squareball Parenting Thread

A couple of minor victories today. Firstly, last night when picking t'bairn up from nursery they asked if he could please wear something red today for 'sports relief' activities and photos. I was proud to reply that he didn't own so much as one single red sock. Picking him up tonight I noticed that some wazzock (how did a great word like that ever fall out of favour?) had sent his kid in full baby forest kit. Took small satisfaction in surreptitiously punting a stickle brick or something the lad seemed to be tottering towards into another room.
