I heard that Billy went for a walk on the beach earlier & Greenpeace tried to push him back out to sea.

I got a couple of really nice caulifowers from the market this morning for 1€, bargain. :thumbl: Go nice with a blue cheese sauce.
I wanted some sardines but they didn't look very fresh, so I bought piece of hake instead. Can't go wrong with a nice bit of hake in my opinion, very under rated fish and not too expensive.
I was correct!

All I said was "that piece of hake was good enough for Jehovah".

By way of small pleasures, I'm enjoying seeing West Ham upbollocks automatic, and likewise Brighton the playoffs.

Always prefer hake to cod or haddock, me, better texture and flavour.
Had a really shocking cod fillet in Harry Ramsden's once, the piece of Cod which passeth all understanding.

Shocking news to those of us with lazily utopian Spanish dreams. Shocking.
You know, I'm sick of following my dreams, man. I'm just going to ask where they're going and hook up with 'em later.

Wrong time of year, they were probabaly imported from Namibia or somewhere, best sardines don't generally get in until May, water's too cold you see...

I have a strong and possibly unhealthy dislike of Sam Allardyce, Karren Brady and West Ham. Yes Sam, having spent the entire wage budget for a club at the bottom end of your division on one player, you've managed to vastly underachieve, pipped by two progressive clubs with progressive managers, but yeah Sam, i'm sure Real Madrid will be ringing you when Mourinho walks out.

My other observations this evening are that it sounds like there are a lot of morons, dissidents and sickpots at Bloomfield Road this evening, Leeds United Calypso is very much enlivened by adding Bates Out!, and I bet Thom Kirwin is squirming in his seat at half time. Ben Fry will be preparing the questions for the next interview to slaughter Blackpool FC and their inconsiderate seating arrangements.

...is this an argument for Andalusia musta, or is it the same there?

Has anything happened yet in some game somewhere?

Never tried it, isn't it a type of catfish? Don't know if I fancy that.

Maybe I'm naive, but I've always had the feeling that Kirwen is sympathetic towards the fans feelings. Out of all the YR crew he's the one that tows the line with the least gusto

Sardines come into the med around mid May so almost any sardines you see atm are imported.
Med sardines are the best, Cantabrian and Atlantic ones are good, but the ones from Castellon are the best for me.

If Kirwin called any bandsman at the FA Cup Final a brass bandsman, they'd tear him a new one. Tit.

Well I think its the texture that makes it a winner, but as its cheap enough try it as a lunchtime treat first with a bit of lemon and, salt and pepper, maybe add some Creme Fraiche and a hint of garlic and Pan fry. Serve with fritata in a Spanish Stylee (no cauliflower tho!!! )
