Keepers: Jussi Jaaskelainen, Brad Guzan, Steve Harper
Full-backs: Steven Reid, Nicky Shorey, Sam Ricketts, Stephen Kelly, Paul Robinson, Adam Drury
Centre-backs: Zat Knight, Jonathan Woodgate, Fitz Hall, Zak Whitbread, Danny Gabbidon
Central midfielders: Mohamed Diame, Hendry Thomas, Danny Guthrie, Paul Scharner, Owen Hargreaves, Ferrie Bodde, Keith Andrews, David Jones, Kemy Agustien, Rory Delap, Vince Grella
Wingers: Jerome Thomas, Martin Petrov, James McFadden
Strikers: Somen Tchoyi, Marc Antoine-Fortune, Tuncay, Ivan Klasnic, Emile Heskey, Kevin Davies, Peter Lovenkrands, Ricardo Fuller, Simeon Jackson, Mamady Sidibe, Aaron Wilbraham

Thought Paddy Kenny was out of contract this summer too? Some interesting names on that list, probably on too much money for us in the main though. Zak Whitbread stood out against us when he was at Millwall, Simeon Jackson has raw pace - they're realistic targets given they'll not be on premier league wages. Guess Robinson is pretty much a done deal, why else extend his loan with the season over?

Would be happy to sign either or both of Jerome Thomas and James McFadden.

Is there a similar list of championship players?

yeah, there are some decent names on the list.

we could do with a CB who's genuinely top-notch in the air. this season lees & o'dea have been so-so. both are barely 6'1" and, whilst there are a fair number of top CBs of that height or less around, it's a disadvantage if you don't have really strong other qualities to compensate. i'd say that there are a fair few players on the list who'd be good in this role.

it'd be nice to have a lot more speed in the team, maybe on the right wing [assuming that snoddy will play LW] and/or right back, i daresay that a younger player [e.g. a loanee? a superior version of sanchez watt?] might be the way to go there. dunno about simeon jackson, haven't really seen him play other than vs. us, which is always dangerous [see Paynter, W].

a new hoofball-friendly CF to rotate with lucy would be nice. heskey or davies would be good, not sure how realistic though.

Agreed on Whitbread and Jackson. Keith Andrews can now officailly fuck off, the grabbing twat, although we probably only offered him a tenner a week.

Fitz Hall is at QPR I think, so wouldnt be suprised to see him. but not keen.

Steve Kelly always seemed alright to me, and I'd take Guthrie on a free as well.

You know, I couldn't even begin to contemplate the possibility of who we might / might not /fail to sign in the summer.

It's only going to be a disappointment.

Right Ive dropped a bollock. Tom Lees is on here, so it's obviously not updated. I am braced for a volley of pisstakes, but I'll stand by my original enthusiam. Anyway, the bulk of it will be right.

Yeah, I found that site too, but discounted it quickly for a few reasons:
1. It doesn't include our out of contract players in the 2012 list
2. It does include players like Adam Hammil who aren't out of contract this summer, thats just when his loan from Wolves ends.

Seems Sean Harvey isn't very competent/keen to do his job quickly in order to get players signed up! Colin met with White yesterday now needs to put pressure on Harvey to actually meet the demands and get things sorted by the end of next week, one way or another - I suspect if left to his own devices, Sean would sent White his written offer in about 3 weeks time and it'd be for half what was verbally agreed/demand an answer by the previous week.

The transfermarkt link isn't the most reliable because you've got to discount all the loan deals ending at the end of the season which are included on that list. Not sure why Tom Lees is down as ending this season, probably just haven't updated it to his latest contract.

So who do we reckon is already signed up for announcement 1st May? Derry? Kenny? Colin can't be making a fuss about f'in Robinson surely?

Wouldn't be the first time under bates that a current loanee has been unveiled as a 'new' signing. Fuck I despise the bloke more than words can say, I have more time for my tumour than it's namesake!.

Given the usual standard of announcement from the club it's likely to be that we've signed up Farmfoods as our official supermarket partner.
