Don't forget McCormack is 'available', if not formally listed.

I think you can include Snodgrass too in that statement.

Trialists, Transfers & Speculation

I will be bloody amazed if we get rid of half the listed players, n reckon both Barndoor n Connolly will play more games for us next season than Kisnorbo n Bromby combined.

Dunno. I'm getting the impression - fuck knows why - that Billy has come round to thinking his career might be totally fucked if he doesn't go somewhere and play. He could sit on the money with us, but I guess his ideal would be a season-long loan at the top-end of League 1 and some agreement on money that keeps him up there for one more season. But I think he'll go.

You could be right about Billy, bloody hope so, suppose it depends us getting the investment we've been waiting for all summer. If we sell RM we need two new forwards, no investment means most of the fee we get for RM is needed to cover lawyers fees, building work, running costs etc, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Billy on our bench next season.

not one of the back five who started last seasons first game against Southampton will feature in our first game this season i would think, not a bad thing with our previous defensive records,

last seasons first game team.......

Lonergan, Connolly, Kisnorbo, O'Brien, O'Dea, Clayton, Brown (Paynter 54), Snodgrass (Sam 73), Howson, Gradel, McCormack (Nunez 62). Subs: Rachubka, Bromby.
every fuckers on there now so here goes....

Fax Man wrote:Can see Kenny coming in, Lonergan going to Bolton. If we get rid of those on the transfer list and Brown/White don't sign their contracts, I reckon we still need: a right-back, cover for right-back (Lees could do this), another decent centre-back, cover for left-back (if Taylor goes on loan), a right winger, two centre-midfielders, a decent left winger and another striker. So nine new signings in total.

Under contract:
GK: Andy Lonergan, Alex Cairns
RB:
CB: Jason Pearce, Tom Lees, Leigh Bromby, Patrick Kisnorbo
LB: Adam Drury, Charlie Taylor
RM: Robert Snodgrass
CM: Paul Green, Zac Thompson
LM: Danny Pugh, Robbie Rogers
ST: Luciano Becchio, Ross McCormack, Davide Somma

Out of contract (offered new deal):
Michael Brown
Aidy White

Transfer listed:
Adam Clayton
Ramon Nunez
Billy Paynter
Paul Connolly
Andy O'Brien
Paul Rachubka

Doubt warnock will rely on either of these too play any part given their current injuries and in paddys case the fact he was fucking horrendous last season and against any slight pace he is like a dear caught in the headlights

Trialists, Transfers & Speculation

It's possible that none of the players who played against Saints will play against Wolves.

Nothing is impossible, the word itself says 'I'm possible'!

More than possible, I'd say it's pretty fucking likely at this rate.

-----------------Lonergan----------------
--Connolly--Kisnorbo--O'Brien--O'Dea--
-----------Clayton-------Brown-----------
---Gradel------Howson-----Snodgrass--
---------------McCormack----------------

All injured, transfer listed, gone or likely to be sold.

From Wiki, so pinch of salt:

"In September 2009 Morrison joined James Grant Sports Management part of the James Grant Group which represents players such as Jordan Rhodes, John O'Shea, Jack Rodwell, Ali Al Habsi, Clint Dempsey, Ryan Nelson, Ishmael Miller, Cameron Stewart, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Zak Whitbread and brothers Craig & Gary Gardner."

I'd have Whitbread, maybe Miller. I reckon Dempsey fancies a new challenge.
