TSB Christmas Party, 17th December
17:00-Midnight, Temple Mill, Leeds

This Christmas, for the first time ever, we are holding an official TSB Christmas Party. Unlike most Christmas parties this one is actually close to Christmas, and won’t end up with you throwing an overpriced cocktail at your boss as you storm out of a soulless bar in a huff about something you’ll never remember. Our party will take place after the Reading game on Saturday the 17th of December at the historic Temple Works in Holbeck (recently used for the ‘Wish You Were Here’ exhibition of LUFC casuals photography).
Because it’s an old warehouse we are able to do (almost!) whatever we like with the space – this will mean Leeds United and Square Ball posters all over the walls, video of classic games projected onto the walls, free table football; plus a mix of Christmas songs, Leeds songs (we won’t play Football in a Yorkshire Rose, we promise) and other decent music to get your arms and legs moving with more wild abandon than Paul Rachubka coming for a cross. Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas if you couldn’t stuff yourself, and food will be available courtesy of a burger van outside the venue.

We’re also taking complete control of the quality and price of the drinks available. Bitter and Pale Ale will be provided by Holbeck’s very own Leeds Brewery, and we will also have Budvar (500ml), pints of Magners and enough quality wine to make the sommelier at Howard’s Restaurant weep, all priced at just £2.50. We will be open straight after the game from 5pm and won’t be kicked out until midnight. Please note, though, that due to licencing restrictions there is an over 14’s only policy at the venue. Sorry kids.

Tickets are available online (at the bottom and bottom of this page), and the sooner you can buy them, the less lonely we’ll feel. Come on, be nice, it’s Christmas! Tickets cost just £2 – however, as all proceeds from ticket sales are going towards Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal, we have given you the option to select an additional donation from a drop-down menu (and being the bunch of dissidents that we are, we will even cover the Paypal fees, so every penny from ticket sales will go to the appeal). Please give generously. There will also be a raffle on the night with a chance to win Leeds United related goodies which will, hopefully, raise even more money. Christmas, booze, food, music, games, Leeds United, and The Square Ball. Have we missed anything? It should be good. We look forward to seeing you.
