Between 26-29th May 2022 roughly 100 Leeds fans (at the start, anyway) are walking 92 miles from Gary Speed’s first playing field in North Wales, back to Elland Road.

We’re supporting two mental health charities: Andy’s Man Club and the Samaritans.

There they all are at the beginning of the journey, at the playing fields where Gary Speed played football as a boy, with his mum Carol getting up early to see everybody off this morning. You can see how they’re getting on in our Instagram stories, for as long as Dan’s battery and health holds out.

They will not look this healthy or clean by the time they get to Elland Road! So to make it all worthwhile, please donate to either The Samaritans or Andy’s Man Club or both (it’s your choice rather than a 50/50, for logistical GiftAid reasons) by visiting these links:

Andy’s Man Club

The Samaritans

At the time of writing (afternoon of Thursday 26th May) we’ve already raised £30,906. That’s loads! But it could be even more with your help! Thank you very, very much if you’re donating.

Before Dan and Michael set off on this jamboree, they recorded a special podcast with Andrew Greenway of Andy’s Man Club about the brilliant work they do to lift men’s mental health. You can watch their chat below or listen to the audio version here.
