In May of last year we walked 92 miles, from Gary Speed’s first playing field in North Wales, back to Elland Road, raising over £80,000 for charity in the process. You can read all about that harrowing experience here.

Having failed to learn from our mistakes, we’re doing it again. This time it’s 92 miles from Gary’s boyhood club, Everton, back to Elland Road. We’re even braving nights in Bolton, Burnley and Halifax along the way. All money raised will go to Andy’s Man Club. Andy’s Man Club are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. If you want to learn more about them, we spoke to Andy Greenway ahead of last year’s walk. You can find your nearest group here. We’ve also started a mini series of podcast with them where we discuss issues like relationships, money and health.
