10 Years On

92 mile walk for Gary Speed – the big announcement!

To mark the 10 year anniversary of the passing of Gary Speed we thought we should do something big, befitting Gary’s stature within the game. So Dan and Michael from the podcast are leading a crack team of Leeds United fans on a 92 mile odyssey from North Wales, where Gary Speed grew up, back to Leeds – all to raise money for Andy’s Man Club and the Samaritans.

We need to work out some of the logistics, so full details of the trek will follow. But here’s what we have so far. The walk will take place 26-29 May 2022, after the Premier League season has concluded. We’ll spend a night in a budget hotel in three glamorous locations: Warrington, Oldham and Huddersfield, before our triumphant march back into Leeds. Please watch the video above or listen to the audio below (or in your podcast app) for the latest details.

Right now you can register your interest here.

In the meantime, get involved with this after the Brentford game: Hayden Evans and Adam Pope talk about Speedo, for charity.
