If you like TSB Week and my reports as they are, and just want to say ta and get me a pint, this tier is for you.

For $3 a month you'll get the daily email and bits and bobs on here but no extra reports or MoscowCasts.

But I'll be just as appreciative of your support, cos it all helps to keep things running (or get me drunk).

Six dollars is about £4.50, so just over a quid a week. It'll help support my other writing at TSB, and will get you access to other occasional things on this feed. Expect gifs (again), old photos, weird finds and musings on Carl Shutt.

About MoscowhiteTSB

Are you reading the BUFF? I write an email newsletter about Leeds United every day. Get your BUFF for eighty pence per month — that's twenty pence per week or four pence per day.

••

I’m Daniel Chapman, a writer and editor, also known as Moscowhite, because of the internet. I write about Leeds United, and used to be paid to, but I'm not anymore, so now I'm relying on readers for rent. If you like reading what I write, this page is a way for you to keep a writer you like alive for 50p (or more, or even less) a week, and get some new writing in new formats.

Since 2011, I have co-edited The Square Ball fanzine, seeing it through its 25th anniversary. During that time, The Square Ball has been shortlisted for the Football Supporters’ Federation Fanzine of the Year award eight times, and won twice. I've also appeared on more than a hundred episodes of The Square Ball podcast, which we swear will return soon. Honestly.

In 2017 I wrote Do You Want To Win?, a book and film about Leeds and Leeds United from 1988 to 1992, the years when Howard Wilkinson took over from Billy Bremner, and took over everything.

I have been writing about Leeds United for years, not many of them good years (although that's changing, right? Ah, hope. We'll always have it). I write match reports and a weekly opinion column — The Square Ball Week — that has now hit more than 260 editions. Both are now being published at The Square Ball website.

I'm now working on a new book — details will follow later — and writing freelance.

I'm hoping that with your help supporting my writing, those projects won't end with me living in my car.

SUPPORT MATCH REPORTS & TSB WEEK — 50p A WEEK

I'm not currently paid to write match reports or TSB Week, so if you enjoy or have enjoyed reading them over the last five years and more, I hope you'll think it's worth buying me the equivalent of a beer or two a month to help me keep going. Those articles are staying free to read at The Square Ball website, but your 50p will help them keep coming.

For an even better deal, this page offers extra articles, a podcast so you can hear my writing as well as read it, and various other bits and pieces that will only be available here, including:

THE SECOND REPORT — £1 A WEEK

An extra article every week only for subscribers, anything from a closer look at current events to new writing about historic matches.

THE MOSCOWCAST — £2 A WEEK

This includes The Second Report, and a new MoscowCast™ that will bring my writing and voice together. Every match report, every TSB Week, every Second Report, each 5-15 minutes long and read by me, released exclusively here in podcast format. There's also a private RSS feed that means you can get this delivered straight to iTunes or any other podcast app.

More details are in the rewards section on this page.

Thanks for reading, and as Howard Wilkinson used to say, thank you all for your magnificent support.

Cheers — and MOT.

Moscow.
